Q: How do I bring your program to my school?

A: Call or email us (see contact page). We will work out a schedule that best suits your calendar.

Q: What does the school need to do?

A: The school needs to schedule a time and place for the lessons; confirm a date for a demo; and promote the lessons to the entire student body. Typically, ASB students champion this.

Q: Is there a minimum number of students required?

A: Yes, a minimum of 20 students is desired in order to send 2 teachers.

Q: Is it really free?

A: Yes, it is.

Q: How is this possible?

A: Dance it program is made possible by donations from people like you. Donate today.

Q: Can we take more lessons?

A: Yes, you can add as many as you want.

Q: Does it cost?

A: After your free series we must charge for instruction. It is $20/student for 4 one hour classes, minimum 20 students, with one teacher.

Q: What other dances do you teach?

A: Any partnered social dance: waltz, salsa, tango, zydeco, west coast swing.

Q: Will you teach a PE class?

A: Yes. We customize PE classes so contact us about your specific dates and we can work out the details.

Q: Do you teach at private schools?

A: Yes, we teach at any high school within 20 miles of Seattle.

Q: Do you teach only at high schools?

A: Yes, we believe these students are most receptive to the social opportunities dance has to offer.

Q: Where can I get private dance instruction?

A: All our instructors teach private and group lessons outside of Dance It. See our staff page for more information.

Q: Can I help?

A: Yes, please see our volunteer page or subscribe to our bulletin. You can help spread the word by sharing this information with others. We are always looking for more schools to host our program, and donations to support our mission.
